FIRST GRADE
2011-2012
24 yellow pencils (#2 lead, already sharpened) with plain pink erasers
4 dry erase markers (any color)
4 large pink erasers
1 box of 48 crayons
1 set of wide Crayola washable markers (Classic colors)
Fiskar school scissors (small, metal and pointed)
2 bottles of white Elmer's school glue with orange cap (4 ounce each)*
2 glue sticks
2 packages of 4X6 index cards (lined)
4 two-pocket folders, no prongs (red, yellow, blue, green)
2 one-subject spiral wide-lined notebooks
1 plastic school box (8" X 5" X 2" -- any larger size will not fit in student's desk)
2 large boxes of Kleenex
watercolors (containing only 8 colors, either Crayola or Prang)
1 box of 50 sandwich sized baggies (Ziploc only)
2 boxes of gallon sized baggies (Ziploc only)
4 containers of disinfecting wipes
durable book bag (large enough to accommodate an 11" X 13" Friday Folder)
Please mark only the following materials with your child’s name: Scissors, school box and folders. Also, please keep in mind when buying your child's lunch box that there is limited storage available.
*These items will be distributed at the beginning of each quarter so that your child will have adequate supplies throughout the year. (When purchasing glue, please keep in mind, no colored glue, no paste, no glue gel, no "no run" glue.)
