MATH Casey	Begin Chapter 5, Chapter 5 Quiz 1 TUESDAY!!!
PRE-ALGEBRA 7	Begin Chapter 6, Chapter 6 Quiz 1 THURSDAY!!!
ENGLISH Dean/ Hepner	Spelling lesson 16 is due on Monday 2/6 and the spelling/vocabulary test will be on Thursday 2/9. The Test over Chapter 3 will be on Friday Feb. 10th.
SOCIAL STUDIES	We are studying Article One of the Federal Constitution. Your child should start memorizing the Preamble (52 word sentence at the beginning of the document). They have it on a handout as well as p. 232 in their textbook. No quiz or test scheduled for this week.
LITERATURE Bugos	Book report books must be read by Feb. 10th. Book reports must be ready by Feb. 17th. We will be working on various in-class activities, working mainly on vocabulary and comprehension.
LITERATURE Colburn	continuing unit on informational text - miscellaneous assignments
LITERATURE Davis	We will continue reading from, The Giver. Book reviews (either oral or written) are due on Friday, February 10th.
SCIENCE	Chapter Review will be due Tuesday. Chapter 3 Test will be Wednesday. Extra credit flashcards will be due on Wednesday. The flashcards with the 17 vocabulary words and the bold statements under the Key Ideas heading on page 105 should be studied for the test.
PHYSICAL ED Boys	Basketball skills and written test
PHYSICAL ED Girls	girls will finish up the aerobics unit this week with a written test at the end of the week
