OMS 6th graders in Mrs. Ferry's mini-course have another edition of Charger News Network!

Due to the winter forecast expected today, tonight's 8th Grade Girls' Regional basketball game at Monmouth-Roseville and the Boys' basketball game at Orion have been cancelled.
There will be no practice for Boys' basketball today. As of now, there will be practice after school for both Girls' basketball and Wrestling.

Congratulations to the 7th grade girls basketball team. They finished their season with a 14-7 record and a loss in the IESA Regional final. Veda earned the IESA Sportsmanship Award!

OMS Student of the Week: Drake!
Drake shows initiative in his own learning and helps others at the same time. He made a Blooket quiz about the tennis unit they’re studying in PE and shared it with his classmates so they could practice and study, too.- Mrs. Ferry

6th-grade students had another round of reader's theatre with Mrs. Walker! Their hard work and creativity were not "throne" out. We weren't in "de-Nile" of their talents!

6th-grade students in Mrs. Walker's social studies class learned how to write in hieroglyphics! Instead of walking like an Egyptian, they learned to "write like an Egyptian!"

6th graders are learning about nutrition and food safety in their health class. They did a great job on presenting on this topic and creating their posters! "Lettuce" be honest, food safety is super important! The posters were one in a "melon!"
