6th-grade students had another round of reader's theatre with Mrs. Walker! Their hard work and creativity were not "throne" out. We weren't in "de-Nile" of their talents!

6th-grade students in Mrs. Walker's social studies class learned how to write in hieroglyphics! Instead of walking like an Egyptian, they learned to "write like an Egyptian!"

6th graders are learning about nutrition and food safety in their health class. They did a great job on presenting on this topic and creating their posters! "Lettuce" be honest, food safety is super important! The posters were one in a "melon!"

PE Student of the Week- Leah!
Leah was chosen as our PE student of the week. Leah demonstrated extraordinary kindness and compassion to a fellow student who was having a really rough day in PE class. She took it upon herself to go over and sit down next to the student and chat for a few minutes. She empathized with the student and, by her encouragement and acknowledgement, the student began to participate in class with a much more positive attitude and new mindset. Well done, Leah.
