Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade scholastic bowl teams. They compete tonight in the Prairieland Conference tournament held at OMS.

Congratulations to the 2020-2021 OMS 8th grade volleyball team and the 2022-23 OMS 7th grade volleyball team. Both teams were recognized at Wednesday's volleyball game.

The 7th grade boys' basketball sectional game scheduled for Monday, January 29, at Rockford, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 30, at 6:30 p.m.

The 7th grade boys' basketball regional game at Joy will begin at 6:15 tonight. Bus time is 4:15. The middle school volleyball game scheduled for tonight at home has been canceled. Thank you.

Several 8th-grade students visited John Deere Davenport Works on Thursday. They learned about the various opportunities and benefits our local factories offer workers in our community.

Congratulations to the 7th grade boys basketball team. They won the Prairieland Conference travel banner after defeating Monmouth-Roseville.

Our cheer squad represents OMS proudly at home and away games. Rah Rah for Orion!

Our band and choir members gave a great performance at our OMS concert on 12/12.
