What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject is specifically Chemistry. It's so interesting to see how the unseen things in our world are made up and how they relate to one another.

What activities are you involved with both inside and outside of school?

I've been a part of the cross country and track teams all four years of highschool. I am also Student Council President as well as NHS President. I have been an FCA student leader for 4 years. I am on the scholastic bowl team and a part of class executive council. Outside of school, I volunteer my time to help with various community projects.

What are your goals after high school – college, career, military, etc.?

After high school, I plan to attend Olivet Nazarene University to major in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology to eventually become a registered dietitian.

What is your favorite high school memory so far?

So far, my favorite high school memory is qualifying for the state track meet my junior year. It was a great experience and a lot of fun.

What pro-tip would you give students on how to survive high school?

Don't waste your education. Each class is important, regardless of what you may think now. Always put forth your best effort and don't take any opportunity for granted.

What motivates you to work hard and stay involved at school?

My faith is the driving force of my work ethic. It's important for me to set a good example for others and always work hard. I love being involved, being able to help out those around me, and being an encouragement to those who need it.

What did Abigail's teachers say about him:

Abi is the total package! As a Student Council President she continually sets an example for those around her. She is involved in many extra curricular activities while keeping a focus on her academics. Her connection to people and service to those around her shines in her countless hours within her school environment. Abi is a happy, giving and genuine person and one who truly leads the life of high standards. When you need something done and done right, Abi is your go to!
