
We will be holding preschool screenings on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 8:30 am. - 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity to have your child’s vision and hearing tested as well as speech and other developmental skills. This is a developmental check-up for children living in the District that are between 3 and 4 years old. Screening will be held at the Orion Methodist Church, 407 12th Ave Orion, Illinois, IL 61273. To schedule your appointment, please call the CR Hanna Elementary School Office at 309-526-3386 during our school hours 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


Kindergarten Registration for the Fall of 2025 will be held at CR Hanna Elementary School on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
To be eligible to enter Kindergarten in the fall, a child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2025. For more information please visit the CR Hanna website.

The School District will have an e Learning Day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12, due to the Winter Weather Warning. All after school activities will also be canceled on Wednesday. School will be dismissed early today, Wednesday, February 5, due to the icy weather that is predicted to be in our area later this afternoon. CR Hanna will be dismissed at 2:00, followed by OMS and OHS. There will be NO afternoon ESP at CR Hanna after school today. Please stay safe.

Today we had an assembly for the American Heart Association - Kids Heart Challenge! Students learned about the importance of raising money. Our challenge starts today! Information will be coming home soon.

Our second grade students had an assembly with Native American Rudy Vallejo. Mr. Vallejo shared a lot of great information about the Native American community. The children were able to see artifacts and perform some Native American dancing.






Congratulations to Mrs. Welborn's Fourth Grade Class for winning the Reflex 4th grade Green Light Challenge. The class earned an ice cream party.

Breakfast is a great way to start your morning! This morning, we received a HUGE donation to our Cereal Box Challenge. 1, 145 boxes of cereal were donated to the OHS Student Hunger Drive to support the River Bend Food Bank. CRH would like to THANK the donors for all the donations! Don't forget the last day to donate is Monday, November, 4, 2024.
