CR Hanna will host Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24, 2025. Each student will have an individual 15-minute conference.

Conferences are first-come, first-served — so don’t wait to grab your spot!
Sign-ups will CLOSE on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Julie Doxtader and friends from QC Social Stars came to first grade and introduced their therapy dogs named Charlie, Enzo, Jovie Lou, and Hazel. Students learned about what therapy dogs do, read a special book about them, and even saw tricks!

CRH Staff are getting ready for VIP Day tomorrow. We have added an additional 115 parking spots in the grass near the visitor parking lot. We are asking divers to enter off of 10th Street access this temporary lot.

If your child was absent on the original picture day or would like a retake, please be sure to send them ready with their best smile.

The Kindergarten students at CR Hanna proudly brought along a favorite fluffy friend—teddy bears, dinosaurs, unicorns, puppies, and even some magical creatures marched through the halls. Our students beamed with pride as they showed off their special stuffed animals to classmates and teachers.

The stuffed animals “marched,” waved, and even danced a little as our Kindergarten students paraded with big smiles and even bigger imaginations throughout the halls of CR Hanna.

We are so proud of our kindergarteners for bringing joy, excitement, and school spirit today.

We are going to celebrate the talented actors and actresses of CR Hanna Elementary School during our Hollywood Homecoming Spirit Days starting on Monday, September 15. From striking a pose on Hooray for Hollywood Day, mixing it up on Fashion Disaster Day, dazzling on the Red Carpet, showing off superpowers on Marvel Day, and finally relaxing in style for After the Oscars PJ Day—our students and staff are Hollywood legends!

We are looking forward to a fun week of school spirit, creativity, and hope everyone is ready for their red carpet smiles!

We’re excited to serve up this crispy, tasty option for our students!

Today we had our KINDNESS assembly! Each teacher chose a student who showed kindness throughout the entire month of August. September is RESPECT!

New event at CR Hanna - VIP Day!

This week in music, first grade students worked on melodic direction. They used xylophones and metallophones to play notes going up and down. Students learned “small is high and big is low, that is science, we should know.”

Today, third grade students at C.R. Hanna Elementary had the exciting opportunity to learn from a very special guest—the “Butterfly Lady!” Students were captivated by her presentation, which brought the wonders of butterflies to life in a fun and interactive way. She left some colorful creatures for the students to release back into the wild. Each class will be getting their own chrysalises to observe and release when they are ready. Stay turned for CR Hanna’s third graders butterfly release!

Did you know 80% of the teachers at CR Hanna have their master's degree? Today we celebrated Mrs. Bersell (kindergarten) who finished her degree earlier this year! This fun tradition is a minimal thank you for the time and effort our teachers put into going above and beyond for our students.

Guess who’s rolling into town? The Mobile Dental Bus will be at Orion on Tuesday, September 3!
