Today was a busy day in Mrs. Peterson's science room. The physical science class explored polymers and states of matter by making slime, and the physics students ended their study of forces by breaking their bridges made from pasta. Amiliani Bradley's bridge was the class winner, successfully holding 3.2 kg!

Ms. Grundstrom's English 4 class opened a study of grit with a fun activity. They were first asked to write what "grit" means to them on a balloon, and then they had to keep the balloon bouncing without it falling on the ground. Eventually, students were challenged to only use one hand, balance a book on their heads, and drink from a glass to simulate how it feels to balance multiple obligations in life. "It definitely got me thinking about balancing multiple things at the same time," said senior Macy Mizlo.
