This year's homecoming theme at OHS is "Hollywood Homecoming". Anyone wanting to be a part of the homecoming parade should submit a parade entry form to the OHS office by Tuesday, September 16th. Forms can also be emailed to jbakener@orionschools.us
The Charger Football team would like to thank these sponsors who provide a light pre-game meal before JV & Varsity away games and ensure that all of our players are fueled up and ready to go for game time! In just a couple of weeks, the Culinary Arts III students will take on the responsibility of prepping these meals as part of their curriculum and culinary training. So these sponsorships actually help both our athletes and our classrooms.
The F/S Football game on Monday Sept. 1st at Hall High School has been changed to a 10:00am start time. Bus time will be at 7:30am and departing from the high school.
We wanted to make everyone aware that tonight's VB will still be streamed on NFHS Network, BUT unfortunately will still have a foggy view to it. We learned on Monday that the lens has condensation on the inside. We hoped it would have been resolved by tonight's game but has not and a new unit has been shipped and the camera will be replaced soon. Thank you!
Don't forget: Tomorrow is Picture Day at OHS. Students will get their pictures taken during English class.

Orion High School's Open House will be held on Tuesday, August 19th from 6:30-8:00 PM. New this year, Open House will follow a cafeteria-style format giving parents the ability to visit classrooms at your own pace and on your own schedule. We hope you can join us for our new look Open House and we look forward to seeing you Tuesday night!

The OHS north parking lot (aka the Faculty Parking Lot) will be closed today and tomorrow due to resurfacing. If you are wanting to get to and or use the track you will need to park in our main parking lot and walk down. Thank you!
We are happy to announce that the track and Charger Field at OHS are officially open. They are ready to be used again starting today!! Thank you again everyone for all your patience!
OHS state qualifying track members and their coaches were honored at the school board meeting Wednesday night. Congrats to Charlie Arnold, Dayne Gibbons, Abi Kayser, Mallory Pronschinske, Wyatt Steen, Savannah Streeter, Owen Voorhees, Coach Hohl, and Coach Kayser on great season!
OHS Student Council had the pleasure of helping with the CR Hanna Field Day today! The sun was out and smiles were endless. Not sure who had more fun, the elementary students or the high school students.
Update at State for the track girls, both Savannah Streeter and Mallory Pronschinske have advanced to Saturday's finals in the High Jump! And Abi Kayser's final for the 3200m will be Saturday as well! Both events will start at 10am! Catch the Live results on Athletic.net! Good Luck ladies!
