OSC United Girls Soccer defeated Macomb 7-0 to improve to 16-1 for the season. They celebrated with an Ice Bucket Challenge to support mental health awareness.
OHS Boys Track Team came to compete in their first 3 invites for the outdoor season, placing first in the United Storm Invite on 4/3, Titans Invite on 4/14 and our very own Charger Invite on 4/16! Great job guys! Keep it up!
The OHS Track & Field team host their Charger Invite this past Wednesday and they came to compete! Between the boys and girls team we had 10 individual athletes win an event which they all earned a T-shirt for their accomplishment! Great job everyone!

Congrats to OSC United Girls Soccer team who went 3-0 today to win the Princeton Invitational and run their record to 11-1 for the season. MVP of the day goes to goalkeeper Violet Fiers who made some keys save as the girls won two games on penalty kicks including the championship game!

A group of OHS students took part in the Build My Future Trades and Medical Career Day at the QC Expo Center in Rock Island. Careers involving plumbing, electrical, painting, arborists, nursing, masonry, the armed forces and more were represented. The event also hosted competitions including an obstacle course that the Orion students won.
Don't let the sunshine fool you!! Unfortunately due to low temperatures at the start of tonight's Softball and Baseball games we will be postponing and will be rescheduling! Softball will be rescheduled for Wednesday, April 30th at Mercer County. Both Varsity and JV Baseball will be rescheduled for Monday May 12th. Varsity will be at Mercer County and JV will be at home.

Happy First Day of Spring! But Mother Nature thinks otherwise! Tonight's Softball home opener vs. Knoxville has been postponed and tentatively rescheduled for Monday March 24th pending umpires availability. Varsity at 4:30pm and JV to follow after.
Tomorrow night, Friday, March 14th is the 25th Annual OEF Gala “Rock of Ages - Silver Celebration” at the Camden Centre in Milan, IL starting at 6pm. Join the Orion Educational Foundation for a great night celebrating and supporting Orion students. Tickets can be bought at the door and entry covers your meal as well as the Dueling Pianos show. There will also be a silent auction will be several great items and an “Adopt-a-Square” opportunity for chances to win $500, $250, or a metal Orion Chargers sign. Don’t miss out on this fun evening!

The OHS Culinary Club took part in a service learn project tonight prepping and serving meals at a homeless shelter in Rock Island County. Students made enough food for 50 people using their expert cooking skills.
