Following the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election, the Orion Board of Education announced an opening for a Board of Education member. The opening was advertised and ten candidates applied for the position. At the June 18, 2025, Orion Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the appointment of Colton Drish to fill the vacant Board of Education member position, effective immediately. Mr. Drish is a resident of Colona Township. Mr. Drish will fill the vacant position until the next Consolidated Election to be held in April 2027. We welcome Mr. Drish to the Orion Board of Education and thank him for serving our school district!
